Duties & Responsibilities Analyze potential future risks and assist the organization in developing policies aimed at minimizing costs while maximizing efficiency. Design and evaluate insurance, financial, and pension plans ensuring they operate on a stable financial foundation. Gather and scrutinize data to estimate the likelihood of various outcomes, directly influencing strategic decisions. Utilize findings to develop, test, and manage effective policies, ensuring they meet organizational goals. Communicate analysis results to executives and offer recommendations for improvement. Required Skills Ability to work independently, managing complex issues and referring only the most intricate problems to senior staff. Deep understanding of actuarial concepts and functions. Leadership capabilities, providing mentoring and guidance to junior team members. Potential to act as a supervisor for a small team. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Knowledge of accounting principles and statistical methods. Attention to detail is essential. Qualifications Education: A bachelor’s degree is required. Experience: 2 to 3 years in a related field. Certification: Requires Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) certification. Compensation Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies based on factors such as office location, role, skill set, and experience level. The range for this position is $88,000 - $132,000. In addition to competitive salaries, PCG offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental care, 401k, paid time off, parental leave, and bereavement leave.
