What this job involves:As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in this pursuit by leading projects and delivering exceptional results for our clients. Your innovative approach, collaborative mindset, and commitment to success will help us further strengthen our culture of collaboration and advancement.The Atlanta Development Management group provides third-party project execution services for mid-to-large ground-up new development projects. Services include front end advisory through management of entitlements, design, and construction on behalf of third-party clients.What your day-to-day will look like:Delivering exceptional project management servicesManaging and overseeing all aspects of projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and executionCollaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project successEnsuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standardsProviding leadership and guidance to project teams, empowering them to thrive and excelStakeholder management: Engage with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.Project documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.Financial management: Monitor project financial performance, track expenses, and maintain accurate project budget records.Building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their goals and objectivesChampioning JLL's values and culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and belongingRequired qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.)PMP certification or equivalent project management certificationMinimum of 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the commercial real estate industryProven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completionStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsExcellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environmentTechnical understanding of design and constructionDeep knowledge of construction project permitting, closeout and quality assuranceAbility to estimate costs, create schedules, strong monthly reporting, and presentation skillsWillingness to travel up to 60% of a given week within the state of GeorgiaStrong software proficiencies in the Microsoft Office Suite as well as learning project specific softwareAbility to be present in the Atlanta office 3 – 4 days/wk depending on work travel commitmentsAbility to work a full time job 40 hours per week, Monday through FridayPreferred qualifications:Master's degree in a related fieldExperience leading projects in multiple sectors, including office, higher education, and public sectorDemonstrated experience in change management and driving innovationKnowledge of construction processes and building codesProficiency in project management software and toolsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
