Associate Laboratory Assistant at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is per-diem and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.

Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy and Specimen Processing Supervisor, the Clinical Lab Assistant I performs routine non-technical, manual, and a moderate amount of technical work in the medical laboratory. Maintains laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Carries out related tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License, or
• Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Laboratory, medical office or hospital experience
