Business Process Automation Engineer

Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Business Process Automation Engineer with expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and API consumption. As a key member of our team, you will design and implement automation solutions to streamline and optimize various business processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process Analysis and Design: Analyze and understand existing business processes to identify areas for automation and improvement. Design automated solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy in business operations. Scripting and Development: Utilize TypeScript and Node.js to script and develop automated solutions, implementing code to integrate with APIs and orchestrate processes seamlessly. API Consumption: Integrate with third‑party APIs and services to facilitate data exchange and process automation, ensuring secure and efficient usage. Workflow Automation: Design and implement workflow automation solutions to streamline end‑to‑end business processes. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand workflow requirements and implement automation accordingly, ensuring solutions align with business goals. Data Integration: Develop solutions for integrating and transforming data between different systems and databases, including data synchronization processes to ensure consistency. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the performance of automated processes, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization. Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of automated solutions. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for automated solutions, including design specifications, code documentation, and user guides, ensuring knowledge transfer and up‑to‑date documentation. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Process Automation Engineer with expertise in TypeScript and Node.js. Strong understanding of API consumption and integration. Experience in designing and implementing workflow automation solutions. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) standards. Knowledge of low‑code or no‑code automation platforms. Previous experience with process mining tools. Exposure to data integration and ETL processes. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
