Senior Project Controller

Responsibilities Joint responsibility with project managers for the financial success of the projects. Support Project Managers with project forecast preparation, analysis & reporting Challenge execution teams to mitigate/minimize potential budget variances through risk identification and quantification activities Manage project financial projections (Estimates at Complete) and ensure any deviations from budget are clearly quantified and supported by root cause documentation Contract review and performance evaluation to driving favorable financial results through Change Order management activities Management of project working capital Monthly presentation of project financial performance to VP/Director overseeing project delivery and creation of associated management reporting dashboards Lead weekly pacing calls with PM’s to ensure monthly forecast commitments are delivered Support ad hoc analysis & other duties as assigned to improve the performance of project controlling function Requirements 5+ years of proven experience in either a projects business or manufacturing plant (preferred) Strong sense of ownership & accountability – with a consistent track record to deliver success whilst working with an operational business partner Ability to build relationships while also being comfortable challenging and proactively motivating change Inquisitive nature with exceptional analytical, critical reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
