System/Network Administrator Level 2 with Security Clearance

Base-2 Solutions is looking for a system/network administrator that provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems. The candidate will manage IT system infrastructure and related processes, provide day-to-day operations support, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. They will deliver Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, manage escalation and communication to agency management and internal customers, support dispatch systems and hardware issues, configure and manage virtual and storage environments, Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems, install/upgrade OS software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, configure virtual, storage and network components, and implement OS enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Responsibilities Configure and manage Linux/CentOS operating systems and install/upgrade OS software, implementing OS enhancements. Troubleshoot, maintain integrity of, and configure network components. Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware. Analyze and resolve complex problems related to server hardware, applications and software integration. Experience with system monitoring tools such as HP Tools/OneView, SiteScope, etc. Virtualization experience. Team collaboration and issue tracking using Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence), GitHub and ServiceNow. Requirements Ten (10) years of experience as a system/network administrator. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional system/network administrator experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree. TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. Pay & Benefit Highlights Competitive fixed salary or hourly pay based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
