Pay rate : $20.68 + $5.35 (Health ad Wellness) per hour Job Location: Ft. Indiantown Gap PA Job Summary The Stock Clerk receives, stores, and issues materials, supplies, merchandise, and foodstuffs, and compiles accurate stock records within the rooms of the warehouse. They sort, weigh, and examine incoming articles to verify conformance to specifications and store items according to established Quality Control Program. Primary Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review. Receive, store, and issue supplies, foodstuffs, and materials according to assigned facility storage locations. Sort or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt against requisitions, invoices, or manifests. Examine stock to verify conformance to strict food specifications, quality standards, and contract guidelines. Store articles in assigned slots, bins, pallets, or shelves according to style, size, type, and temperature requirements. Use of forklifts and high reach pickers to store. Execute detailed inventory counts, perpetual inventory reviews, quality audits, and compliance inspections. Additional Responsibilities Prepare and maintain accurate records of goods shipped and received, including manifests, bills of lading, and storage receipts. Compile detailed reports on inventory count adjustments, stock spoilage, location changes, and damaged goods. Utilize the First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) methodology to track lot numbers and prevent shelf-life expiration of perishable food items. Mark identifying codes, figures, or tracking letters directly on articles or storage containers. Provide immediate physical assistance to Order Filler crews during high operational tempos and weekend unit surges. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Education, Experience and Certification(s) High school diploma or equivalent, required. 1 year of experience in inventory control, retail stocking, or warehouse operations preferred. Forklift license preferred or able to pass a forklift license test within 30 days. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail with experience in inventory count methods and data tracking. Ability to work productively within cold storage and sub-zero environments. High level of integrity to execute precise compliance audits and inventory reports. Good communication skills to interface cleanly with warehouse and shipping leads. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee will lift or move products and supplies, up to 55 pounds, and work in cold temperatures. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. This position operates in a warehouse environment, including dry storage rooms, refrigerated coolers (+32F to +45F), and a bulk freezer environment maintaining a -10F temperature threshold. Work is required during regular weekdays and scheduled training weekends.
