Warehouse Associate, 2nd Shift

Schedule and Compensation: Sunday 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM and Monday–Thursday 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (overtime required). Pay rate: $22.76 per hour (includes shift differential). Role Overview: Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This includes receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery operations, ensuring efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment to internal and external customers. Responsibilities Follow established SOPs to process orders, including accurate picking, quality control checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building, and wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and preparing orders for shipment. Pick large case items with material handling equipment or small unit‑of‑measure items and place on designated cart. Cross‑train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed. Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in and/or send out products. Operate material handling equipment such as order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walk‑ie rider. Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Work on routine assignments that require problem resolution. Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management. Perform all duties in accordance with OSHA standards and company policies, rules, regulations, and procedures. Qualifications Frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for entire shift. Comfortable working at heights of 20–30 feet regularly. High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience (preferred). Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred. RF scanner and/or voice‑to‑pick experience highly preferred. Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice. Ability to follow direction and change priorities while working independently or as a team member. Adaptability to a fast‑paced warehouse environment while meeting hourly performance standards. Good verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to learn and rotate into various warehouse areas. Adhere to site safety regulations, including wearing required PPE such as steel‑toed safety shoes and material handling equipment safety harness; accountable to Cardinal Health’s EHS and QRA policies and procedures. Expectations at This Level Apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks. Readily learn and apply new information and methods in assigned area. Maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications. Work on routine assignments that require some problem resolution. Follow clearly defined SOPs and/or scientific methods. Adhere to all quality guidelines. Work under moderate supervision. Output typically reviewed by work lead or supervisor. Refer complex or unusual problems to supervisor.
