This position manages academic program data analytics, leads and coordinates key departmental meetings and events, oversees academic scheduling, and serves as the primary liaison among faculty, staff, and students. The Academic Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring timely communication, accurate data reporting, and streamlined academic program execution across multiple stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities Academic Program Coordination and Analytics Collect, analyze, and report weekly student analytics, including enrollment numbers and applicant-to-matriculant conversion rates Update and maintain presentation materials such as slides for recurring staff meetings and leadership smart book inserts. Track the academic calendar, course offerings, scheduled rooms, and report related deadlines to department leadership. Assist in the coordination of IIO Engagements and Meetings Organize and facilitate weekly or bi-weekly staff meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and meeting execution Serve as lead for the IIO Speaker Series, “Meet Your Major,” and internship/information sessions Assemble and review content for the IIO Newsletter and manage bi-annual “Dead Drop” releases Assist in the coordination of IIO Engagements and Meetings Organize and facilitate weekly or bi-weekly staff meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and meeting execution Serve as lead for the IIO Speaker Series, “Meet Your Major,” and internship/information sessions Assemble and review content for the IIO Newsletter and manage bi-annual “Dead Drop” releases Program Assessment and Quality Assurance Lead the development and execution of the academic timeline each semester Track assessment standards and ensure curriculum committee submission are reviewed and submitted on time Assist with standard operating procedure (SOP) reviews and updates as needed Event and Project Management Oversee the planning, coordination, and outreach for academic-related events involving students, employers, and guest speakers Maintain documentation, track deliverables, and ensure successful execution of assigned academic events and projects Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Strong analytical skills for compiling and interpreting academic data Proficiency in presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint) and learning management systems (e.g., D2L) Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize effectively under deadlines Experience working collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders This job posting reflects the general nature and level of work expected of the selected candidate(s).
