Join our team and help build engineering solutions that change the industry./ppJob Summary:/ppThe Field Frac Technician I installs, maintains, and repairs frac equipment consisting of API 6A Gate Valves, chokes, casing, and tubing heads and spools. This position will require the ability to drive a company issued vehicle./ppAdditional Information:/pulliStarting Pay: $24.15 and can be adjusted with experience./liliSchedule: The schedule is Monday Friday, currently working 12 -14-hour days and some weekends. 24/7 on call schedule is required for this role. Please note the schedule is subject to change based on business need./liliRelocation is not available for this position./liliSponsorship is not available for this position./li/ulpWhat You Will Do:/pulliPrepare JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and POWRA (Point of Work Risk Assessment) on job site and perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with SPM Oil Gas SHE policies/liliAdhere to and exercise Stop Work Authority and Management of Change/liliSafely install, remove, repair and service equipment on a frac site. Pre-check all equipment and processes prior to starting the job to ensure all equipment is operable and complete/liliMake repairs to customer property and rental assets including valves, spools, chokes, actuators, and surface equipment as required/liliInspects, rebuilds, operates, tests and troubleshoot equipment. Monitors, evaluates and recommends adjustments to processes and or equipment that maximizes quality and efficiency/liliOperates equipment and materials following OEM guidelines as well as standard operating procedures./liliProvides superior customer service to all internal and external customers/liliProvides technical expertise and direction to frac site supervisors, as well as third party providers when necessary/liliMaintain SPM Oil and Gas company supplied assets and any other equipment, including site specific equipment, as it relates to company policy/liliPrepare accurate field service and sales orders in an organized, legible manner, in addition to any other necessary documentation/liliDemonstrate the ability to perform independently or in a team setting/liliAvailable on 24-hour call to respond to customer needs/liliCommunicate effectively, both verbally and written/liliPerform required work in the shop; must be knowledgeable on shop functions/liliPerforms other duties as assigned/li/ulpWhat You Will Have:/pulliMust be at least 21 years of age./liliHave a clean driving record, which generally means:/liulliNo more than (2) moving violations within the last 12 months./liliNo more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years./li/ulliSix months of related experience and/or training/liliMust be authorized to operate a company vehicle/li/ulpWork Environment:/pulliRegularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles/liliFrequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions/liliOccasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration/liliNoise Level: Moderate/li/ulpSummary Pay Range:/pp$24.15 - $32.35/ppCompensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
