Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Pediatric Echo Tech to perform pediatric echocardiograms and related diagnostics. The candidate will provide high-quality imaging and assessment for patients with complex heart conditions, supporting clinical teams in a busy healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

Perform pediatric echocardiograms, including fetal ultrasounds, with proficiency and attention to detail.
Enter full reports into PACS system and ensure accurate documentation of findings.
Assess and interpret complex congenital heart defects to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain proficiency with GE imaging systems such as Vivid 95, Pioneer, and Voluson.
Follow established protocols for imaging pediatric patients and communicate effectively with medical staff.
Adhere to safety standards, including BLS, and manage patient care in accordance with clinical guidelines.

Qualifications:

Hold a current Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) credential with PE certification, or CCI with RCCS certification.
Possess at least 2 years of experience performing pediatric echocardiograms, including complex cases.
Demonstrate proficiency with GE ultrasound systems and PACS systems.
Be proficient in fetal echocardiography (preferred).
Maintain current BLS certification.
Have pending or active South Carolina licensure with proof of application or eligibility.
