As a Flagger, you will be an essential part of our Baranko Brothers team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining safe work zones and directing traffic at various civil engineering job sites. We are looking for an individual who understands the importance of safety and teamwork, and who can work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic at job sites using signals or hand-held signs.
• Set up traffic control devices in work zones, including cones, signs, and barricades.
• Communicate effectively with other workers, including heavy equipment operators, to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Monitor traffic flow to ensure worker and public safety.
• Stand for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
• Remain alert and aware of oncoming traffic and potential hazards.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
• Knowledge of road and construction safety regulations, along with experience using hand tools, is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with drug and alcohol policies during employment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this position.
