Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience which includes two (2) years in a comparable job position
License: Must have appropriate certification or licensing in the state of practice, such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
Certifications: Must hold a BLS, and one of the following licenses in the applicable state of practice without any restrictions or supervision required
Must-Have:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical area
- Five (5) years of clinical experience which includes two (2) years in a comparable job position
- Appropriate certification or licensing in the state where practice occurs, such as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT


Description:
The successful candidate should be able to perform all necessary job functions consistent with performance requirements.
Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on a review of available records and clinical interviews.
Provide treatment by developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on evaluation of needs and functioning levels.
Document treatment and evaluation activities in healthcare records for each individual seen.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive materials and information at all times.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theory and techniques used in treatments and activities for individuals.
Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions to address the needs of individuals served.
Schedule notes indicate the requirement for open availability for scheduling as needed.
Candidates must be licensed in the applicable state.
Citizenship requirements for clearance may apply.
Candidates will undergo a thorough background and credit investigation for clearance purposes.
US Citizenship required for ICE clearance.
