Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Overview Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in a skilled nursing neighborhood. Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating new hire orientation programs, educational in‑service/clinical programs, and training for all nursing personnel. The ADON oversees the infection control program as a designated infection preventionist to comply with Federal and State regulations, provides training to nursing staff, and assists the Director of Nursing with management and administrative functions. Requirements Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum five years of clinical experience, preferably in long‑term care Experience with in‑service education Clinical supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of principles of nursing care and Federal and State regulations governing long‑term care facilities Benefits Health benefits (medical, prescription, dental and vision), flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability programs, 401(k) plan with 4% company match after one year, paid time off and holidays, and other benefits. Eligibility may vary based on status. Pay Range $90,177.00 - $107,425.00 per year. Starting rate will vary based on skills and experience.
