Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for adult cath lab patients using the nursing process and established standards
- Monitor hemodynamics, vital signs, and patient status during pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases
- Assist with interventional procedures, including equipment preparation, monitoring, and maintaining sterile technique
- Administer medications as ordered and respond to changes in patient condition per protocol
- Coordinate care with physicians, technologists, and other members of the health care team; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EPIC experience required)

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (Oregon for this assignment)
- Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab or comparable acute care experience
- BLS certification from an approved vendor; ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification required
- EPIC experience required
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cath lab within a short-term acute care setting
