Sr. Accountant

Tech-Pro-Admin-01The position requires an in-depth understanding of general accounting, month-end closing, and reporting, with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Timely month/quarter/year-end financial statement closing, accurate financial reporting, and meeting deadlines are key responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly financial statements, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and management reports (e.g., trial balance, balance sheet, P&L) and analysis.Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages to Corporate, including submission of reports using consolidation software.Ensure accuracy of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other Subsidiary Ledgers to the General Ledger.Prepare, confirm, and reconcile related party receivables, payables, and transactions monthly.Prepare sales and use tax schedules and other compliance schedules as required.Provide supporting schedules and documentation to Corporate and external auditors.Assist in preparing the annual budget and forecast.Prepare monthly accounting and management reports, including headcount, sales, and cost of sales by country, trial balance, balance sheet, and departmental budget to actual expense.Prepare load files and input financial and supplemental information using SAP and Anaplan portals, fixing uploading errors.Prepare trend analysis on warranty, returns, and bad debt.Input Fixed Assets details using BNA software and Lab Asset File, reconciling and booking transactions to JDE.Perform accounting, financial, and administrative tasks as requested by the CFO, Accounting Manager, or Cost Accounting Manager.Perform various ad-hoc analysis and reconciliations, as necessary.Calculate Sales Commissions for Sales Reps and RSMs.Prepare monthly recurring and ad hoc financial report submissions to Headquarters.Collaborate with other department managers to support overall company goals and objectives, ensuring spending aligns with the budget.Prepare monthly Backlog, Bookings, and Sales actuals and forecast numbers based on input from Business Partners.Assist Cost Accounting Manager in preparing recurring monthly Journal Entries.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting.Minimum of 3 to 7 years in general accounting.Manufacturing experience is a plus.JDE experience is a plus.Advanced/Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, x, h, v-lookups, macros, and other functions.Strong organizational skills and excellent collaboration abilities.Attention to detail and flexibility to manage multiple tasks independently.Ability to manage confidential information.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional organization and time management skills.Proven ability to meet deadlines while performing tasks accurately.Proactive with a keen sense of ownership in all areas of responsibility.Punctual and dependable attendance.Analytical and critical thinking skills.Proficiency with US GAAP.Supervisory experience preferred.Other QualificationsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages, and to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Physical DemandsStand and walk – 1/3 of the time.Sit – 2/3 of the time.Reach with hands and arms – 2/3 of the time.Use hands to finger, handle, or feel – 2/3 of the time.Talk or hear – 2/3 of the time.Carry, push, or pull – 1/3 of the time.Lift up to 10 lbs. – 1/3 of the time.Bend – 2/3 of the time.Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
