About This Role The Manager of Clinical Professional Development oversees the planning, implementation, and management of the nursing education program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting quality improvement initiatives. Highlights Location: New York, NY Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You’ll Do Maintain current knowledge of and ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards of care. Establish and facilitate multidisciplinary and interdepartmental quality improvement programs/committees. Coordinate and facilitate resolution of the implementation of new systems responding to quality improvement outcomes. Identify and collaborate in the development of policies, standards, and programs to support nursing practice and patient care. Assess the impact of research protocols and facilitate their implementation. Implement cost-effective alternatives that promote quality improvement. Plan education for staff regarding quality-driven goals and objectives. Interpret quality-driven goals to staff and take responsibility for major divisional quality initiatives. Promote the application of information systems. Coordinate and promote activities and programs contributing to nursing scholarship. Requirements Education Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required. Experience 6-8 years of relevant experience required. 2-5 years of leadership/management experience required. Licenses & Certifications Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut required.
