CT Technologist

Location: Auburn, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description: The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing various computed tomography (CT) procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. Candidates must possess strong technical and patient care skills, with a focus on safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scans following physician's orders and established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging exams.
• Administer contrast media as required for imaging procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience.
• New York State license and BLS certification required.
• ARRT certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Injection certification on New York State license is necessary to perform contrast CT exams.
• Familiarity with various CT equipment and charting systems.
