Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Our law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our office as part of our collections team. Former experience in accounting, collection, bankruptcy, HOA, title/escrow, Legal Assistant/Secretary preferred. Successful candidates will be able to handle multiple matters simultaneously, take direction well, and pay strong attention to detail. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Join and assist our collections department with debtor phone calls, correspondence, electronic and paper filing Back-up receptionist duties as needed or necessary (answer multiple phone lines, check and distribute mail, daily post office runs and/or other deliveries/drop offs as needed, maintain conference rooms, kitchen, lobby) Schedule and calendar meetings Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Integrity, a positive attitude, excellent judgment and the ability to maintain confidentiality Minimum of 2 years of accounting, collection, legal or title/escrow experience Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing environment and priorities Intermediate skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook This position is full time and available immediately.
