School Bus Aide

We are looking for a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a School Bus Aide. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the bus driver in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transportation. This is a full-time position located at our Transportation department. Responsibilities Assist the bus driver in maintaining a safe and orderly environment on the school bus Help students get on and off the bus safely Monitor student behavior and intervene when necessary to maintain order and safety Ensure that students are properly seated and wearing seat belts Communicate with parents and school officials as needed regarding student behavior or other concerns Assist with the maintenance of the school bus, including cleaning and fueling Follow all safety procedures and protocols established by the school district and transportation department Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience working with children preferred Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school officials Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Must pass a background check and drug test #J-18808-Ljbffr
