Preconstruction Manager

A well-established electrical construction firm is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join its growing team in North Texas. This position offers the opportunity to support the planning and delivery of complex electrical construction projects across a variety of sectors, including mission critical, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare and commercial environments. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, design teams and project leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop project budgets, cost plans and pricing strategies during pre-construction. Prepare estimates for projects at various stages of design and development. Participate in design reviews and identify cost-saving opportunities. Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing. Support proposal development, client presentations and project pursuits. Monitor market conditions and construction cost trends. Collaborate with project teams to develop execution and delivery strategies. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and industry partners. Assist with identifying and securing future business opportunities. Requirements 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating, pre-construction or related disciplines. Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing or mission critical construction projects. Strong understanding of budgeting, conceptual estimating and cost planning. Experience using industry-standard estimating software. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with BIM, design or construction coordination software is advantageous. Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
