Tax Manager CPA Tax and Advisory

Our team has been engaged by a top CPA firm that is approximately 30 employees to find a high quality Tax Manager in the downtown area of Washington DC. This firm works with very significant local and regional business clients as well as high profile VIP personal clients for a variety of tax and business advisory needs. This is a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment where you can lead, make important decisions for clients, and perform tax review work for dozens of regionally based businesses. Position Summary and Duties: Work independently and with the management staff to work with an assigned group of clients across multiple industries Advise clients on multiple tax issues, planning, research and compliance Prep and review tax returns for multiple entities including C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, and Trusts Work with key clients for business advisory and tax decisions, 90% advisory, 10% compliance Supervise and train junior tax personnel Help when needed for local business events networking and fostering relationships Role Qualifications: 5-7 years of tax prep and review experience with various entities Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent) / BS Degree / BA Degree Masters in tax or accounting preferred CPA is not required but highly appreciated EA also preferred and desired and or CPA High level of tax skills, organization, and analytical skills Pay and benefits: $120,000-$150,000 salary annually, commensurate with experience 401(k), Profit Sharing, Medical and Dental Insurance / HMO / Dental amp; Vision Plan Generous PTO policy Flex schedule, hybrid is an option Email View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr Caliber Recruiting Group
