Boston's Bridge To Excellence Inc. is looking for an energetic and passionate Before & After School Sports Coach to inspire and motivate students in Boston, MA! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in young athletes' lives by fostering teamwork, confidence, and a love of sport. - Plan and lead engaging before and after school sports programs for youth participants
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all students during program hours
- Teach fundamental sports skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship across a variety of activities
- Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment for all skill levels
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and program coordinators
- Monitor student progress and adapt activities to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Maintain equipment and ensure activity spaces are safe and organized
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or working with school-age youth in a sports or recreational setting
- Strong knowledge of multiple sports and age-appropriate athletic activities
- Excellent communication, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Ability to work early morning and/or afternoon hours aligned with school schedules
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated with a passion for youth development
- Must pass a background check in accordance with Massachusetts state requirements
