Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is responsible for providing safe and age-appropriate care during imaging procedures while ensuring the highest quality diagnostic studies are obtained. The role requires flexibility in work hours to meet departmental needs, along with a strong sense of dependability, accountability, and cooperation within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical imaging procedures utilizing independent judgment and technical skills.
• Set up imaging equipment and position patients appropriately for procedures.
• Ensure compliance with departmental procedures and safety protocols.
• Provide patient assistance and ensure a supportive and caring environment.
• Demonstrate initiative and ingenuity in the utilization of imaging equipment for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and effective communication with patients and staff.
