CNC Programmer (Onsite)

CNC Programmer Location: York, Nebraska Role type: Onsite What You Will Do Program complex parts using NX CAD/CAM software for both 2‑axis and advanced 5‑axis machining. Operate and program a range of machines, including Makino HMC’s and VMC’s, Mori HMC’s and VMC’s, Mazak vertical 5‑axis, Okuma lathes, Multus mill‑turning, index turning, Swiss turning, and additional equipment. Work with materials such as Tool Steel, aluminum, 15‑5 stainless steel, cast iron, 4140, 9310, Nitronic 60, 300 M, and others. Maintain tight tolerances, from +/− .020 in to .0002 in total. Use NX 2506 (or later releases) for programming and continuously improve workflow efficiency. Communicate program adjustments to operators and cross‑functional teams to enhance processes. Collaborate with Process Engineering to design defect‑free parts. Qualifications You Must Have University degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field. Demonstrated ability to apply mechanical principles to practical tasks and problem‑solving. Proven capability to develop creative or non‑standard technical solutions within engineering or manufacturing environments. Qualifications We Prefer 5 years machining experience. Basic proficiency in G‑code programming for CNC and other automated machining equipment. Practical experience operating or programming mills, lathes, and grinding equipment.
