Step into a dynamic contract opportunity making a difference in the educational journey of students in the Winchester, VA area. This onsite position supports a school community through dedicated speech and language services, beginning as soon as possible and extending through May 28th, 2027. With a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, you’ll be instrumental in helping students communicate effectively and reach their academic goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
• Proven experience or training working in school-based settings with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong familiarity with educational SLP practices, including IEP development and progress monitoring
• Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills
• Comfortable working fully onsite in a school environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Conduct evaluations, develop targeted intervention plans, and implement therapy for a range of communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and timely progress reporting in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in eligibility meetings, staff conferences, and professional development activities as required
