Primary Care Physician

Role Summary CenterWell Primary Care, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., is looking for a primary care physician for our Marrero clinic in Marrero, Louisiana. The role is hands‑on, addressing patient needs inside the exam room and considering social determinants of health. We specialize in senior‑focused primary care. Day in the Life Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm Join an experienced team with an established patient panel See 12‑15 patients per day with opportunities to spend more time with each Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes) Spend 100% of time clinically focused on direct patient care Required Qualifications Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine Board certified or board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment (or willing to obtain) Current, unrestricted DEA license Preferred Qualifications Minimum of two or more years of experience At least one year managing a Medicare Advantage panel of patients Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators Fluent in Spanish and English Additional Information Guaranteed base salary and bi‑annual bonus Excellent benefit package – health insurance starts on first day of employment CME allowance and dedicated time off for CME Occurrence‑based malpractice insurance Relocation and sign‑on bonus available 401(k) with employer match Student loan assistance Life insurance and disability insurance Generous paid time off and holidays Paid parental leave Minimal call Compensation Scheduled weekly hours: 40.
