Physical Therapist – Inpatient

Schedule: 5x8 (choose Mon–Fri or Tues–Sat) Weekend requirement: 2 weekend shifts per month

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 10 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year inpatient/acute care experience
• BLS certification required
• New Mexico (NM) license required (pending license accepted at time of submission)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments for inpatient populations, including adults, adolescents, and geriatrics.
• Focus on patients with surgical procedures, orthopedic injuries, neuro conditions, trauma, and various medical diagnoses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and rehabilitation strategies.
• Document patient care plans and outcomes using the charting system.
