Grounds Technician

GEODynamics in Millsap, TX is looking for qualified candidates for Grounds Technician. Our campus is on the frontage road of Interstate 20 near Millsap, TX. Located west of Fort Worth, it is an easy commute from surrounding communities of Weatherford, Stephenville, Mineral Wells and Aledo.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate all groundskeeping equipment including but not limited to: zero turn mower, weed eater, backpack blower, chain saw, pole saw.
• Knowledge of the safety of using herbicides and pesticides as needed.
• Work with Facilities Maintenance Technician and GEODynamics personnel to ensure walkways and other outside surfaces are suitable for foot traffic during inclement weather such as ice storms, snow, etc.
• Maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Assists the Facilities Maintenance Technician as needed with general repairs and maintenance around the Millsap facilities.
• Practices safe work habits in accordance with OSHA and GEO-specific Health and Safety expectations

Qualifications, Experience, Skills/Knowledge:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 - 5 years of experience in lawncare.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs
