We are partnering with a growing, institutionally backed financial services platform on a confidential Director-level search. The firm is expanding its real estate credit business and is looking for an experienced professional to help build and lead this initiative.
This is an opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a business line, work closely with senior leadership, and play a meaningful role in its growth.
What You'll Own
- Originate and evaluate commercial real estate financing opportunities through relationships with banks, direct lenders, and intermediaries.
- Lead transaction structuring, credit underwriting, and due diligence from initial evaluation through execution.
- Assess financing structures, collateral, cash flows, and credit risks across single-asset and portfolio transactions.
- Prepare and present credit recommendations and underwriting memoranda.
- Develop institutional relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Help build and develop the real estate credit team as the business grows.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of commercial real estate finance experience within an investment bank, direct lender, credit fund, or similar institution.
- Strong background in loan origination, credit underwriting, and transaction structuring.
- Experience across commercial real estate debt, structured finance, or real estate capital markets.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to independently evaluate opportunities and manage transactions.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with CMBS, CRE CLOs, or securitized lending is a plus.
