Plan - Build - Track - Analyze - OptimizeDigital Marketing Account Managers (DMAMs) at EC are strategic problem-solvers, organized account leaders, and trusted client partners. They are explorers, collaborators, and data-driven executors. Our DMAMs directly plan, work collaboratively to execute, and refine full-funnel digital strategies for our clients in the better-building sector (HVAC, home performance, and solar). This role requires a well-rounded digital marketing skill set, a strong analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to testing new tactics.As our clients span diverse markets across the US, each audience demands a tailored multi-channel strategy. You will lead campaigns across the full funnel from awareness to lead generation, including:Strategic Campaign Planning & Channel Strategy: Developing integrated marketing plans across Paid and Organic Search, Creative Content Marketing (blogs > videos), Social Advertising, and Programmatic aligned with client business and marketing goals.Conversion & User Experience: Identifying optimizations for landing pages (UX/UI) and campaigns to maximize for increased brand awareness and lead generation.Performance Tracking & Analytics: Managing tracking platforms (GA4, Google Tag Manager, Data Studio, etc.) and interpreting performance data into actionable insights and tactics.Continuous Optimization: Conducting ongoing testing, reviewing and recommending tactic and budget allocations, and refining keyword/audience targets to meet and succeed against our clients objectives.Client Management: Directly owning the end-to-end client experience through regular strategic calls, proactive campaign updates, clear expectation management, and translating marketing metrics into executive-level insights that drive long-term client satisfaction and growth.AI & Innovation: Actively embrace, experiment, and integrate AI LLMs and automation tools (Zapier) to enhance productivity and client impact, in accordance with Energy Circles Human-AI-Human loop and vetting guidelines, utilizing approved AI technologies as tools, not a strategic shortcut. Requirements:Qualified applicants should have:A degree in marketing, business management, communications, or something transferablePassion, enthusiasm, and 37 years of experience working in digital marketingA blend of quantitative and qualitative thinking abilitiesAbility to present (and clearly communicate) overarching marketing strategy, campaign objectives, and performance metricsAdvanced organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and delegate tasksA desire to build and maintain strong, healthy, proactive client relationships primarily over Zoom, phone, and emailDaily fluency with AI tools (Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) to prompt effectively, streamline daily workflows, and optimize team productivityStrong attention to detail and QA ownership of any work deliverable (AI or otherwise)Demonstrating our Zest for Innovation core value to improve or creatively rethink workflows and processes (AI, automation, or otherwise)The ability to work productively in a collaborative, close-knit team environment; we want participants!Experience (or strong interest) in the better building sectors including HVAC, solar, or home performanceAbove-average proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Suite platforms, including but not limited to Google Data Studio, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, etc.Local to Portland strongly preferred.
