General Qualifications Ability to hear conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid Ability to see and read newsprint, with or without corrective lenses Ability to speak and be understood under normal circumstances Ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to use arms, hands, legs and feet, with or without corrective devices; this includes the ability to evacuate the building during emergencies Ability to handle crisis situations, especially where children are involved Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations Preferred qualifications Willing to drive an after school bus. An increase in compensation will be made if you have or attain a CDL license. To meet driving requirements, must be at least 21 years of age and have no driving moving violations within past 3 years and hold a current TX driver’s license. Prior experience working with school age summer camp and/or after school program in a licensed childcare center. Employment Requirements Employment is contingent upon cleared DFPS, DPS and FBI Background Checks. Salary & Schedule Job Type: Full time and part time. Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour. Schedule Monday to Friday No weekends Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay. Experience Childcare: 1 year (Required) Work Location In person.
