Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in Iron Mountain, Michigan. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical setting, supporting a variety of surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, podiatry, and cardiology. The position requires a dynamic nurse capable of managing Pre-surgery, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and operating room duties with a focus on patient safety and efficient surgical flow.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts beginning between 5:45 AM and 9:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS (American Heart Association) certification, current license to practice as a registered nurse, and a minimum of 2 years of experience within operating room, PACU, or perioperative settings.
• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Experience or Skills: Must have experience with general, orthopedic, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, podiatry, and cardiology cases. Must possess scrub proficiency in pre-surgery, PACU, and surgical procedures.
• Shift Details: Day shifts with rotations for night call, weekends, and holidays. On-call response time must be within 30 minutes for STAT cases.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to cover Pre-surgery/Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PATT), and PACU responsibilities.
• Additional Information: Scrubs are provided by the hospital. A one-week orientation is mandatory. Clinicians with previous employment at this facility must have their last engagement end date at least 6 months prior to submission. All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
