What You’ll Do As a Line Cook at Cafe Pesto, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests. Your responsibilities will include: Setting up and stocking food items and other necessary supplies to keep the kitchen running smoothly. Preparing food items with precision, including cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces. Cooking a variety of dishes using grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods, all while adhering to our recipes and standards. Maintaining cleanliness and complying with food sanitation requirements by properly handling and storing food. Cleaning and sanitizing cooking surfaces at the end of each shift to ensure a safe and organized workspace. Performing inventory checks and completing food storage logs to keep everything in order. What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you’ll need: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or kitchen environment. A strong understanding of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and standards precisely. A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. A team-oriented mindset and a passion for creating exceptional food.
