The Multi‑Site Director is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of sites across Petersham and Royalston, MA, ensuring programs run smoothly, staff are supported, and the organization is a trusted partner in each school. Reports To: Area Director or Regional Director Direct Reports: Site Supervisors; Assistant Teachers Territory: Petersham and Royalston, MA Status: Part‑Time, Non‑Exempt Pay: $25.00–$28.00 per hour Schedule: Follows school district schedule; 50% Petersham / 50% Royalston; Monday‑Friday during program hours plus flexible admin time. Program Hours: Morning: 6:30 AM – 8:05 AM; Afternoon: 2:50 PM – 6:00 PM What Success Looks Like Staffing: Sites are staffed and covered every day. Enrollment: Target enrollment met or exceeded; families satisfied and re‑enrolling. Compliance: Full compliance with state licensing; records current; sites pass inspections. Building Partnerships: School staff view HKP as dependable, communicative partner; day‑to‑day issues resolved quickly. Responsibilities Recruit, hire, and onboard teachers and Site Directors; maintain a reliable substitute list. Build and manage staff schedules; ensure coverage and manage overtime and budget compliance. Visit sites regularly to observe program quality, coach staff, document performance, and foster a positive culture. Monitor payroll and timecards; review & approve, communicate changes, and manage costs. Track enrollment, support families, participate in enrollment events, and report enrollment & quality observations to Area or Regional Director. Ensure all sites maintain active state licensing: conduct compliance checks, keep training records, respond to inquiries, and maintain organized files. Serve as primary contact with school building leadership, coordinate logistics, and address concerns promptly; maintain professional relationships. Qualifications Age 21 or older. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or related field with at least 6 months experience with school‑age children, OR Associate’s degree with at least 9 months experience, OR High school diploma with at least 1 year experience. Administrative experience: At least 6 months experience, or completion of at least 9 college credits in management or administration.
