South Florida Eye Institute is seeking two exceptional Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologists to join our growing medical and surgical practice. We are a modern, efficient, physician-led clinic known for high-quality care, strong patient demand, and an outstanding support team.

We are recruiting for two distinct positions:

1. Cataract Surgeon — High Surgical Volume

We are seeking a skilled anterior segment surgeon ready to assume a robust cataract surgery caseload from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume cataract surgery, including premium IOL procedures

• Diagnose and manage anterior segment conditions

• Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care

• Incorporate MIGS and refractive cataract procedures, as appropriate

Ideal Candidate:

• Demonstrates excellent surgical skills and efficiency

• Has a strong interest in premium lenses, MIGS, and refractive cataract surgery

• Is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience

2. Comprehensive Ophthalmologist — Medical Focus

We are seeking a comprehensive ophthalmologist to provide high-quality medical eye care. Fellowship training or expertise in glaucoma, retina, or medical retina is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of ophthalmic conditions

• Provide medical—and, where applicable, surgical—management of glaucoma or retinal disease

• Collaborate closely with our cataract surgeon and comprehensive ophthalmology team

• Educate patients clearly about their diagnoses and treatment options

Ideal Candidate:

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Ophthalmology

• Fellowship training in glaucoma, retina, or medical retina is preferred but not required

• Demonstrates strong communication and patient-education skills

• Values teamwork, clinical excellence, and compassionate care
