Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Rapid Response)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 6-Week Assignment | Day Shift 7A–7P | Expected 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio across a 30-bed unit with 8 additional hall beds
• Perform procedures including NIH stroke assessments, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Operate unit equipment including Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
• Document accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling as expected
• Maintain all required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC) — must be included in submission packet

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification — required at time of submission
• ACLS certification — required at time of submission
• PALS certification — required at time of submission
• TNCC certification — required at time of submission
• Ability to start within 5–7 days of offer; no RTO or special scheduling requests will be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Prior experience in a high-volume emergency department setting
• Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
