About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to oversee and direct its financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of core accounting activities, including ledger management, payables, receivables, payroll, and formal financial reporting. This leadership role also involves ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting, working closely with senior leadership to enhance processes, and providing strategic financial insight. The VP of Accounting will be instrumental in building and maintaining the financial structure necessary to support the organization's growth. Applicants for the VP of Accounting position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, with a master’s degree preferred, and a CPA designation is required. A minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on U.S. GAAP and corporate financial reporting practices, is essential. The role demands a proven track record in leading external audits, managing relationships with auditors and regulatory bodies, and establishing accounting policies that promote best practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise accounting platforms and a strong background in financial reporting, month-end close, and annual budgeting processes. Additionally, the role requires the ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing accounting teams, as well as a demonstrated history of championing process improvements and finance system optimization.
