Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, manage symptoms, and develop effective coping strategies.

• Actively collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating calmness and effective problem-solving skills.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to support their journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in alignment with legal, ethical, and organizational requirements.

• Participate in regular case consultations and professional development activities, staying current with emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clinic primarily serves individuals grappling with trauma-related disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
