Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Legacy Village of Taylorsville is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our nursing team! You will provide hands-on nursing care, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, and collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive personalized, compassionate care.This position is for a part-time day shift with the following rotating schedule:Week 1: Wednesday and ThursdayWeek 2: FridayShift hours: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM (12-hour shifts)Compensation & Benefits:Competitive Pay - $30 - 38 annually.The starting rate is based on experience and qualifications. This position participates in our compensation program, which provides opportunities for future pay growth based on performance and career development.401(k) with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to 4%Hotel discounts at select Western States Lodging & Management propertiesEligible full-time associates are entitled to the following:Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans plus Health Savings Account (HSA) optionsOptional supplemental benefits, including accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and other coverage options.Personal Time Off (PTO) and Vacation benefitsWhat You'll Do:Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and established nursing standards.Monitor, assess within the LPN scope of practice, and document residents' conditions, vital signs, and changes in health status.Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely in accordance with physician orders and applicable regulations.Assist Registered Nurses and physicians with implementing and updating individualized resident care plans.Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.Provide guidance and direction to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and appropriate care.Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, therapists, and other departments to coordinate resident care and support positive health outcomes.Assist with medical procedures, treatments, and diagnostic testing within the scope of the applicable Nurse Practice Act.Respond promptly to resident needs and medical emergencies, providing appropriate nursing interventions within the LPN scope of practice.Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential resident records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Participate in staff orientation, training, and continuing education to maintain clinical knowledge and promote quality care.Follow established infection prevention, medication management, and resident safety protocols.Ensure medical supplies and equipment are properly maintained, safely utilized, and managed efficiently.Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, families, and team members regarding care needs and concerns.Promote a positive, welcoming environment that supports residents' dignity, independence, and overall quality of life.What We're Looking For:Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.Licensure: Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Utah.Certification: Current CPR certification required.Previous nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care community, assisted living environment, or similar healthcare setting preferred.Knowledge of practical nursing procedures, medication administration, infection prevention, and resident care standards.Strong observation and clinical skills, with the ability to recognize and communicate changes in resident conditions.Ability to provide guidance and support to CNAs and collaborate effectively with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals.Ability to remain calm, respond quickly, and exercise sound judgment during emergency situations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple resident care responsibilities.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and accurate clinical documentation.Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to caring for elderly individuals and those with disabilities.Ability to work cooperatively within a structured, team-oriented healthcare environment.Willingness to follow established nursing protocols, company policies, and applicable healthcare regulations.Commitment to providing exceptional resident care while supporting the overall success of the nursing team.You Know You're Successful When…Residents receive consistent, compassionate nursing care that supports their health, comfort, dignity, and overall well-being.
