Security Technician

The Security Technician will be responsible for the installation and servicing of Access Control, Video Management, Intrusion Detection, and Intercom Systems. We are seeking self-starting, technical, and creative individuals with experience in complex security systems. Position Requires: Active Secret Government clearance (preferred) Report onsite to Washington DC/Metro area Occasional Continental U.S. Travel Duties include: Installation, programming, and servicing a variety of security systems. Experience and/or certifications with systems such as Lenel, Milestone, RS2, DSX, Brivo, Pelco, Exacq Vision, Interlogix, Bosch, DMP, and Aiphone are desired but not required. Interpreting Statements of Work, blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications to determine installation requirements. Ability to interpret manuals and wiring diagrams, utilizing knowledge of electronics. Managing onsite installation of Security Systems and collaborating with the Project Manager to develop schedules. Executing technical aspects of multiple projects with varying timelines, including preparing project documentation such as commissioning reports, as-built drawings, programming, customer training, close-out documentation, and ongoing technical support. Identifying potential project risks, communicating with relevant parties, and assisting in developing strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
