Ultrasound Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 4x10-Hour shift from 12:00 PM to 5:30 PM, available starting in July only.

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, including OB ultrasound, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires a skilled technician who can operate state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment and provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound examinations as per physician requests and protocols.
• Ensure accurate imaging of patients, including assessing fetal anatomical surveys and abdominal structures.
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment and processing systems effectively.
• Provide care and support to patients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's degree in Sonography preferred.
• Four years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech, including travel experience.
• Current BLS certification from the AHA.
• Active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI), either permanent or temporary.
• Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in both Abdomen and OB/GYN.
• Hands-on experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
