About the Role As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our Day Program , you'll provide direct care, supervision, and encouragement to adults with autism in a structured, engaging environment. You'll help participants develop independence, build life skills, and enjoy meaningful daily experiences while supporting their health, safety, and personal goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing direct care, supervision, and individualized support Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living Administering and documenting medications Teaching and reinforcing life skills Providing transportation to community activities and appointments Maintaining accurate documentation Creating a structured, engaging, and supportive daily environment Schedule Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with evenings and weekends free. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or higher degree (diploma or transcripts required) Must be at least 20 years of age Valid New Jersey driver's license Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with individuals with autism Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment Must successfully complete all pre-employment requirements, including: Central Registry CARI DMV Check Drug Screening Physical Examination PPD Testing Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour All Employees Receive Paid Training Paid Sick Time Employee Referral Bonus Multiple Tuition Discount Programs Paid Time Off Paid Sick Time Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401(k) with Company Match Voluntary Supplemental Insurance through Allstate Overtime Opportunities (when available) Career Growth and Advancement Opportunities - we proudly promote from within!
