Collections Coordinator
ABOUT THE COMPANY:
- Our client is looking to add a Collections Coordinator to the Accounting Team. They are located in a beautiful office close to the high way, shopping, and restaurants.
COLLECTIONS COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Making calls and contacts to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
- The Collections Coordinator will confer with customers in attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of sales, service, or credit contract with customer.
- Notify credit department if customers fail to respond.
- Record information about financial status of customer and status of collection efforts.
- Receive payment and post amount paid to customer account.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE COLLECTIONS COORDINATOR:
- Attention to detail
- Skip tracing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2-5 + years of deficiency collections experience
- Solid computer skills
