About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years of RN OR experience required; CVOR experience preferred License: Oklahoma RN license required Certifications: Required certifications for the position need to be valid; candidates without these certifications may still be considered Must-Have: - 2 years of RN OR experience - CVOR experience preferred Description: The Operating Room Nurse is responsible for caring for patients throughout the process of surgery or medical procedures. They ensure patients are recovering or prepared by providing information on the outcomes or potential outcomes of procedures. Operating Room Nurses are vital in the surgical team, collaborating effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical personnel. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly to patient needs during critical moments. Successful candidates will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure. There will be 1–2 weekend days of call required per 13-week period.
