The role involves delivering critical patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. This position requires navigating complex clinical situations and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

• Provide competent nursing care in accordance with professional standards
• Participate in patient education and assess readiness to learn
• Evaluate patient outcomes and revise plans of care as needed
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process
• Consult with resources for patients with complex care issues
• Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum of two years ED experience required
• Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing required
• One year of nursing experience required
