Description
TMC is seeking a Quality Inspector for a Packaging/Kitting facility in NW Houston to support activities in Production.
1st shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
Must be able to work overtime which may include extended hours or weekends
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the inventory team and help to support audits
- Conducting audits to determine the quality of materials and finished products
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
- Identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency
- Participate in routine visual inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
- Ability to take direction
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong math skills and comfortable with counting and verifying supplier lot material.
- Flexible to work overtime to include 10-12-hour shift and weekends when needed
