Duration: 6 Months Contract (subject to start date adjustment) Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Product Manager - Retail Product Lines 3 to join the Global Apparel NBA/WNBA/Promo team. This role will support the creation and management of NBA uniforms and licensed apparel products while partnering with cross-functional teams across product creation, design, merchandising, consumer insights, and external league partners.
The ideal candidate will bring strong product management experience within apparel, a passion for consumer-focused product creation, and the ability to lead complex product initiatives from concept through commercialization. This position requires a strategic thinker who can leverage consumer insights, manage relationships with external partners, and drive product strategies that serve both athletes and consumers.

- Global Apparel NBA/WNBA/Promo
- NBA Uniform Product Management Team
- Cross-functional partnership with Design, Merchandising, Consumer Insights, Product Creation, Finance, Sourcing, and Planning teams
- Collaboration with NBA League partners, teams, and athletes
- Lead the creation and management of NBA uniform and apparel product lines.
- Gather and analyze consumer insights to inform product strategies and business decisions.
- Build, brief, and execute product strategies aligned with consumer and marketplace needs.
- Partner with design, merchandising, technical development, and product creation teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage product creation processes from concept development through commercialization.
- Collaborate with NBA league offices, teams, and external stakeholders to understand product requirements and opportunities.
- Present and pitch product concepts to internal and external partners, including athletes.
- Drive key product management milestones and seasonal deliverables.
- Lead cross-functional teams to solve complex product challenges and deliver consumer-relevant solutions.
- Support revenue growth objectives and business performance goals.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Product Development, Sports Product Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Merchandising, or a related consumer-focused role.
- Experience managing large-scale apparel products in partnership with design teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging consumer insights and market trends.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a track record of delivering against deadlines.
- Previous experience within the sportswear, athletic apparel, or licensed merchandise industry.
- Experience working with uniforms, licensed products, or logo-driven merchandise.
- Experience collaborating with external organizations, leagues, teams, or athletes.
- Strong relationship-building and partnership management skills.
- Previous client or related industry experience preferred.
