CRISP & GREEN™ is seeking a talented Morning Team Lead to add to our team!

CRISP & GREEN® is where individuals go to experience healthy and delicious food. To ensure that guests receive the best service and food each and every time, we need enthusiastic, positive and motivated leaders. Our Team Leads are the champions of delivering an exceptional guest experience. The Team will lead their team with an eye on the food, feel, and flow of the restaurant each shift. It is vital that our Team Leads can coach and inspire teams to deliver and maintain the crisp standard, 100% of the time.

Position Summary

As a Team Leads, you will be the role model amongst our team and maintain our crisp standards in regards to food safety and quality. You will be a mentor, coach, and leader that our teams will want to emulate. This unique role also has the ability to be trained in to be the MOD is the acting leader of the restaurant in the absence of the GM or AGM. You represent the brand, the culture, and the team. Everything you do during a MOD shift is a reflection of who Crisp & Green is.

Compensation:

• Team Lead - $16.50 + Tips
• Manager on Duty (MOD) - $21.00 No Tips

Key Responsibilities

Opening & Closing

• Execute full opening and closing procedures accurately and completely.

• Ensure the restaurant is ready to serve guests before doors open — no shortcuts.

• Secure the building, complete end-of-day checklists, and ensure all safety protocols are followed at close.

• Hold the key with the understanding that access is a responsibility, not a perk.

Shift Leadership

• Run the shift as the acting GM/AGM — with full accountability for the team, the floor, and the guest experience.

• Assign stations, manage pacing, and adjust staffing in real time as needed.

• Keep the team focused, supported, and operating at the Crisp & Green standard throughout the shift.

• Communicate shift notes and any incidents to the GM or AGM after every MOD shift.

Guest Situations

• Handle guest concerns and complaints with ownership, empathy, and professionalism.

• Use good judgment to resolve situations in the moment — know when to make it right and when to escalate.

• Never leave a guest feeling dismissed or unheard on your shift.

Voids & Transactions

• Authorized to process voids, comps, and refunds within approved guidelines.

• Document all void and comp transactions accurately per company policy.

• Use this access with integrity — it is tracked, reviewed, and a direct reflection of your trustworthiness.

Team Accountability

• Address conduct, performance, or attitude concerns on shift with professionalism and calm.

• Document any significant incidents and report to GM or AGM promptly.

• Do not make final disciplinary decisions — that responsibility belongs to the GM or AGM. Your role is to address in the moment and communicate afterward.

Requirements

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months restaurant experience (fast-casual or QSR preferred).
• Completion of Steele Brands’ Team Lead Training program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
