Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac ICU

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). This position involves working rotating shifts, including weekdays and weekends, with a requirement to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.

Job Details

• 36 hours per week, night shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00 - 07:30)
• Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period (Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift)
• Estimated patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2

Qualifications

• 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • IV starts
  • Telemetry
  • Ventilator management
  • Swanz catheters
  • Conscious sedation
  • Intra-aortic balloon pumps
  • Pulmonary artery (PA) lines
• EPIC experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred

• CXS Permit: Access to designated garages on weekends and holidays, available annually.
